The Ritz-Carlton Fukuoka

This is my second visit to The Ritz Carlton, Fukuoka. It is one on my favourite hotels. I highly recommend it. Stay on the club floor - one of the best run club floors I have stayed at. Breakfast, lunch, cocktails, dinner- they got you all covered. The atmosphere & service is great! Location is excellent I was upgraded this visit and my room was amazing. Gym is well equipped with nice windows overlooking the city. The swimming pool is an acceptable size - but this is one thing I found odd, was that they charge you each time for using the pool. Must be some sort of reason behind this or maybe just to keep less people from using it. Can't wait to return !!!

Overall, the experience at RC Fukuoka was positive. The staff were friendly, the service was good and the rooms were clean and comfortable. There was scope for improvement, however. For example: - The café in the lobby area does not serve any Japanese green tea (e.g. gyukuro, sencha, matcha etc.). This is frankly bizarre and unacceptable for a high-end hotel in Japan ! - The bar in the hotel does not have any sake on the bar menu. Again, bizarre and unacceptable for a high-end hotel in Japan. - On one occasion, housekeeping did not replace dirty glasses in the room. This only happened once, so its ok. But again, in a high-end hotel this sort of attention to detail should not be missed.

This was our second time staying at this hotel. They go above and beyond to make sure our stay is nothing short of amazing.

I have absolutely no complaints

Das Hotel bietet das volle Packet - von Ausstattung über Lage bis hin zu Personal und Kulinarik! Rundum einer der besten Aufenthalte, die wir je in Japan hatten. PS: Varisha - in room dining supervisor - war so herzlich und rundete unseren Aufenthalt ab.
