Had a great stay at this hotel. It’s stylish and clean and in a great area. Upper patio with a great view was a nice touch. Vending machines on the second floor but I didn’t check it out as there is a 24 hour Lawson around the corner. Any toiletries we forgot and then some were available in the lobby for free. Staff were pleasant and could speak English. Thanks for a great stay.

Hotel ARU Kyoto was a great place to stay on our first visit to Kyoto. It was close to many attractions yet the room was sound proof and spacious. The decor was an interesting mix of traditional and modern offering all the mod-cons a western traveller could need. Highly recommended.

Excellent place to stay if you’re visiting Kyoto. The hotel was conveniently located to stores, food, transportation, etc. The hotel itself, and the staff, were spectacular, we’d definitely stay there again!
