A very clean and great location hotel. Its close to many attractions in Kyoto. The only thing that we don't like is the room we had is with an opaque window so we don't know if it is a room without a window? I think its ok to have a room without a view but an opaque window feels really strange.

This was a fabulous hotel. The staff were so helpful - even though they seldom spoke English, they figured out what we were asking. The breakfasts were lovely. The place was immaculate. There is a fantastic steak house 3 doors down. And the Keihan line is a short hop over the bridge. On our last day there, we asked for a taxi and the hostess called one but they did not accept credit cards. So off she runs down the street in the pouring rain to get us a taxi from 2 blocks away. And then tries to apologize to us having to pay for her short ride back to the hotel. Now that's service - and with a smile and a bow.

"A little gem in heart of Kyoto"

Great little hotel, spotlessly clean and well placed to walk out to Gion District, shops and many bars and restaurants. We enjoyed the stay, the room was small but comfortable. The breakfast was typical Japanese, which may not suit everyone but very fresh and tasty.

Very cute hotel with friendly staff. The hotel is in a great location, you can walk to multiple restaurants, bars, shops and even a few shrines or temples. Hotel was very clean and tidy too.

The reception and food and beverage team were very helpful and friendly. The location couldn’t be more central. The beds and pyjamas were so comfy. We loved the breakfast. We’ll be back! Daisy and Kieren
