Appartamento essenziale ed economico, adatto a famiglie senza particolari necessità. A disposizione frigo e tutto ciò che serve per farsi la colazione o anche il pranzo in casa.

The location is nice, not on the beach but very close to the beach and walking to many restaurants in the town. The rooms were basic but cozy enough.

The key to one of our rooms did not work and reception closes very early - check in is 4 pm and they were closed at 6 pm. We had to force the key into the lock and it was hard to open so we thought it was the wrong key and didnt want to break anything. All contact numbers go to the front desk where no one was. The man who let us in was very nice but we had to wait over an hour to get in touch with anyone via Booking.com and get things sorted - they did send someone quick but when we got back the second time the key still took a long time to open the door. Upon check out management told me that the room was a mess with a bad odor, sheets stained and mess in the toilet and they were going to charge us. They sent a photo of the toilet - my friend had gotten sick from heat stroke and had cleaned the bathroom and wiped everything down but there was a small stain inside the toilet bowl. Im talking can hardly see it. They had expected us to completely clean the toilet spotless, I guess? And the sheets were not stained. It's normal wear and tear to have not completely clean sheets after a stay with sweating etc. It was a shame because the threats they made to charge us because we did not scrub the bowl is not pleasant. Even booking.com said the photos they received showed no significant issue. They have to clean the sheets and toilets either way and believe me, it was not anything to be picky like that and message me on the app as well as text me personally. (Especially contacting my cell when they didnt even pick up for us earier. Balcony room has a shared balcony. Not a problem as no one was in the room but if you book the suite or the king balcony room just know it is not private. Coffee available but no milk or sugar. Would not stay again. There are plenty of places and the hassle and trying to make a claim over not a spotless toilet is crazy. They also said in the claim no one else was staying there but us when there was another man in the room in the first floor.

Casa Puerto Morelos is a lovely little spot and a hidden gem amongst overpriced hotels. There is so much attention to detail put into your stay and you can tell how much the owner and staff care about providing a great experience for guests. For example, every room has a fresh bottle of filtered water and each day you can replace with a fresh one from the fridge. Both rooms, bathrooms and shared areas are cleaned very thoroughly. Staff are friendly and very willing to help with any questions you have. They even provide a cooler box for your beach days and bikes for a small fee! We couldn’t recommend this place enough and would 100% stay again.

We would’ve liked an extra pillow but this is just our preference and didn’t take away from our wonderful stay.

More like a hostel than a hotel, but great. Shared bathroom with other rooms, so that was a little inconvenient, but worked out fine. Just depends on what you expect. Staff was great!

Perfectly fine spot! We only had one night in Puerto Morelos, this spot is close to everything.

It is not like it is the most beautiful boutique hotel, but that’s not what we expected so that is perfectly fine.
