Garza Blanca Resort & Spa

We stayed at Garza Blanca for 5 nights. The rooms were nice and the beds very comfortable. Beach access was good, and the area was well maintained. However, it didn’t feel like a true all-inclusive experience. There were limited food options available during the day, and dinner required reservations—which were really hard to get—so we ended up ordering room service instead. There was little to no entertainment, especially compared to other all-inclusive resorts we’ve visited. It was also difficult to find a pool chair with a good view. The food quality overall was good, but the drinks were just okay. We paid an additional $1,500 for the all-inclusive package for two adults and one child, and unfortunately, it didn’t feel worth the cost.

We spent 6 days at the hotel in April 2025. 3 adults and 2 kids. The room was beautiful, the pools were in great shape. The food options were plenty. The staff was amazing. Always smiling and helpful. We would definitely recommend! The only feedback would be: 1) a small playground for kids maybe next to the carousel would be good 2) there were no diaper changing stations for babies in the restrooms in the lobby.

Unfortunately there was construction with jackhammer and heavy noise starting 7 am to at least 8 pm. The rooms were far from the main area and ocean 140 stairs to be exact. Unfortunately waiting for the trolley that took us around the property for 15-20 min each ride isn’t exactly idea of a relaxing vacation. Food was mediocre (Costco style)

This was one of the worst travel experiences I've ever had, and I blame both Expedia and the hotel. First of all, when we arrived at the hotel, our room was NOT ready. Instead of a smooth check-in, they threw us into a suite for one night, only to make us wake up early the next morning to move to our actual room. I'm on vacation—I don't want to wake up early! The staff didn’t care at all; in fact, the girl at the front desk had the worst attitude. She was rude, slow, and acted like we were inconveniencing her. And we weren’t the only ones—our family members had the same issue. Their excuse? A "plumbing maintenance issue." To make matters worse, we specifically booked a hotel ON the beach, and guess what? It wasn’t on the beach. Complete false advertising! The trolley they used to transport us was a joke, uncomfortable and unsafe—I ended up with back pain because of it. And then the flight situation—Expedia completely dropped the ball. We were told our flight was delayed, only to find out later that they straight-up lied to push us onto another flight. Why lie? Just be honest! It was beyond frustrating and unnecessary stress on what was supposed to be a relaxing trip. Expedia, do better.

The hotel itself is nice but I will never stay here again because of the management and front staff. I had to wait 4 hours during check in to get a room.

Our first trip to Puerto Vallarta and our first all-inclusive experience and it didn't disappoint. The staff were so friendly and accommodating and the hotel was amazing, from the pools to the restaurants.
