This is a city centre hotel and so the area is bustling around it. That is what we were looking for. It is in a lovely suburb of Mexico with lots of things to see and do just by walking. The room itself was clean and modern, and although the hotel is not large, the rooms were of ample space. They have a very lovely little rooftop bar and restaurant where we had breakfast the first morning. The standout reason that I recommend the hotel is the service. It is a modern way of communicating and so you will be contacted via Whatsapp. Throughout the stay, if you need anything, you just send a Whatsapp message and every time it was replied to with efficiency, friendliness and a general 'can-do' attitude. It is ideal for a couple of nights in the city and we had a lovely stay, thank you.

Hotel Durango 219 is a lovely little gem in the vibrant Roma Norte neighborhood, close to MANY bars, restaurants, and transport options. The rooms are adorable, with private balconies, comfy beds, and great amenities (Nespresso machine, wine glasses, fresh water pitchers daily, daily housekeeping, and 2 onsite restaurants). From the moment we arrived, Fernanda and the rest of the staff at the desk offered amazing guest service. Know that the hotel has a boutique nature and you will not find a traditional lobby/front desk. Despite this, excellent guest service shines through. You can easily communicate with the front desk via WhatsApp for anything you need during your stay, including coordinating offsite private tours. They even check in on you throughout the week via WhatsApp, making sure your stay is wonderful. While we didn’t get the chance to dine at the Babero restaurant downstairs, it looked wonderful. However, we thoroughly enjoyed Cafe Margot on the roof, which is a perfect spot for breakfast, lunch, or cocktails during the day. The location of this hotel is truly unmatched. We explored many neighborhoods during our time here, and this one stood out as the best. It's within walking distance of countless bars, cafes, and restaurants, and picking up an Uber from the hotel is extremely easy and affordable. Most places we wanted to visit were within a 15-20 minute walk, but when we needed to go further, an Uber was always available. The hotel has daily housekeeping, which was a nice touch. Our room did not have an air conditioner, but we understand some other rooms do. We visited in May and had no problem keeping the room cool at night by leaving the door open and using the rotating fan provided by the hotel. Thank you, Hotel Durango 219, for making our first visit to CDMX wonderful. We can’t wait to return!

Lovely little hotel in a great location in Roma Norte, close to lots of bars, restaurants, and transport options. Cosy rooms, comfy bed, good amenities. However, the best thing about the Durango is the customer service ; from the moment we arrived, Adriana and Fernanda on the desk did absolutely everything to help make our stay perfect, with grace and charm. When one of our party got sick and had to leave Mexico, they helped us find and arrange flights, and dealt with dreadful airline customer service rapidly and efficiently, making it possible for us to get back home. Truly wonderful service from these two ladies.

My recent stay at Hotel Durango provided a mix of positives and drawbacks. The staff was exceptional, demonstrating great hospitality and accommodation throughout my visit. The room's decor was elegantly designed with chic furnishings and expansive bay windows that offered picturesque views. However, a notable downside was the room's tendency to become uncomfortably hot during the day, despite the provision of a small, albeit noisy, air conditioning unit. Another challenge was the noise level, particularly as our room was situated above the restaurant on the bottom floor. The vibrant nightlife resulted in significant noise, which could be disruptive for those seeking a tranquil stay. Additionally, the building exhibited some movement when large vehicles passed by, which might disturb light sleepers. Overall, Hotel Durango offers a charming ambiance and attentive staff, but guests should be prepared for potential noise disturbances and temperature fluctuations. If you don't mind the lively atmosphere and occasional inconveniences, you'll likely enjoy your stay at this establishment.

Very nice place in a very ‘happening’ part of Roma Norte. The room was very nice and relaxing, excellent bathroom and the deck opened everything up. The restaurant on the ground floor is very popular, always filled up with what I would call a ‘smart’ set of patrons. There’s a small bar/restaurant on the top floor also, very popular. I was there for two weeks, was very comfortable and always felt safe. When I return to Mexico City I’ll stay here.

Loved our stay here, everything was clean and comfortable. Fernanda was also attentive and checked in with us a few times during our one week trip. We checked in after midnight and there was someone at the desk who showed us how to take the elevator and get into our room. There were sheer and blackout curtains which were nice to have for the early mornings. There was no AC in our room so make sure to book the right room type if you’re looking for AC. We didn’t have too much of a problem because Fernanda sent a really strong tower fan to us immediately after asking about it. Ventilation could be a bit better but wasn’t an issue at all when you open the bathroom window or balcony. Housekeeping was great and bed was comfortable. Sometimes it got a bit loud outside but nothing bothered us. Would love to stay here again next time!
