That was the best hostel I have ever been to! The host was so hospitable, kind, and sweet-hearted. The hostel was very clean and felt brand new. I especially loved the entrance—it made me feel welcomed right away.

A lovely looking property with everything you need to be comfortable during your stay the kitchen immaculately clean beautiful new updated coffee machine and water dispensing machine hot and cold great shower new beds and mattresses warm cozy covers free coffee and tea and water a plus laid back comfortable really enjoyed this one

Only an overnight stay nothing to dislike all was well salute to the staff

The very welcoming atmosphere of this beautiful and very comfortable hostel is just amazing! Everything is so well taken care of and the staff Jose Luis and his son are so friendly and really caring for your well being. The cleanliness of the bathroom, the free use of the washing machine, the nice view on the roof overlooking the mountain area of San Cris. The kitchen is so well equiped and inviting to do your cooking, there is coffee and cookies and tea always available and a big fridge to store your stuff and spices you can use while preparing some food and the kitchen is super spacious and always clean! The hostal is a quiet heaven in a lovely side street of the more busy walking area. Staying in this hostel made my time in San Cristobal de las Casas a very memorable one. It was like being part of the family not a guest in a hostal. Thanks so much. Hope to visit again one day.

Nothing, it is just perfect!

I had a private room, the place is spotless, there's a nice kichen, people staying there are chill, the staff is great, free laundry facility, I just can't say enoug about the value Tierra Alta offered me. When I go back to

Everything is super clean and very well maintained. The owner is a very kind person and he is always willing to help you out.

Best hostel we‘ve ever stayed in. Beautiful outside area lovely rooms and bathrooms. Showers are huge. Everything was built with sight for the details and with love. Very clean and nicest staff/owner you could imagine. Definitely stay here in san cristibal.
