Great Location! Steps away from MetroBus (found it more reliable than a metro & I am usually wary of properties that are not on a subway line), supermarket within Plaza Insurgentes next door & a whole bunch of restaurants, cafes, street food vendors. For getting around to/from = Try to avoid rush hour, especially travelling North from the apartment into the historical centre in the afternoon weekday rush. The transit crowds & traffic are real & nothing like I've seen either in New York or Moscow, for example. & yes, metrobus / metro is faster throughout the day than Uber / DiDi (depending where you are headed, obviously :) Metro is a quick 10-12 min walk away. Wonderful walkable eclectic Roma Norte / La Condesa neighbourhood where we felt really safe even at 2-3 am 8 the place is minutes away from lush parks.  Super clean, beautifully decorated & stylish. Exactly like on the in the photos. Check-in / out was a breeze. Wi-fi worked great. Security was super friendly & it is 24-hours on site.  Large terrace on top floor with great views ( especially right before sunrises) with an esspresso machine (beans & all) & a great spot for remote work / zoom meetings with plenty of plugs. There was laundry with the dryer on our floor, but didn't use it, so can't comment beyond that. It was running some nights, but didn't hear it in our unit. Communication with the management team was quick and clear through Booking.com messenger app. There is a web/mobile check-in where we uploaded our IDs a day before arrival. Although we had to separately ask for check-in unit info as it didn't arrive automatically at the set time, it was addressed immediately & we had all the detials within minutes. Everything worked :)) Elevators, appliances, TV, faucets. Left luggage in the downstairs luggage room & had a full day of exploring without dragging a suitcase or paying for storage elsewhere.

Apartment setup had everything you need for a comfortable stay, comfy bed ( with soft pillows & comfy mattress), pretty big fridge, toaster, French press, fully stocked bathroom with hair dryer, towels, toiletries & great water pressure. The only things I personally missed was a full size mirror & somewhere to hang a dress / maxi skirt ( closet is more of a half closet with a safe in it, so even some t-shirts were struggling to hang loose), but in general the space is efficiently organized. Adding extra hooks in a corridor where you could hang something long on a hanger could easily solve this. As others mentioned, it is quite noisy being on the major street. Property was very transparent about the noise before booking & we knew that it would be the case. Something to consider for sure if you are not a sound sleeper, but we closed the windows ( it is not really apparent that you need to do that & there were 4 to close ) + we had a fan running = helped a lot. (Didn't end up using earplugs at all & our unit didn't have a white noise machine)  There is so much to do and see in Mexico City that we were too exhausted to notice tbh. Not huge issues for our stay, in any case = more of a good to know ahead.

The location

A nightmare. The apartment has no insulation: you hear all outside noise, and part of the window is covered with a thin plastic sheet, letting wind and sound in as if you were sleeping outside. I reported it within 5 minutes and asked for a room change, but even with available rooms, they only offered to move me the next day. I left immediately, and they refused any refund. I feel completely robbed.
