Maison du comte

The B&B is in a beautiful older restored building, enclosed from the quiet neighborhood by an iron gate. The staff, Fernando and Elana were wonderful, always smiling and ready to help and make our stay hassle free. Guy is the owner and consummate host, sharing his insights of Mexico city; what do see, what to do and where do eat. We had a room on the upper floor that spacious, beautiful and well appointed as was the bathroom. Breakfasts are luscious. When we return, we will book again.

Our room was delightful, large with a high ceiling and beautiful decorations.

I liked the old building full of character. I liked the location

It’s a quirky place. Not for everyone but staff help out when asked. The room was ok. Needed more light. We found it dark. Not all rooms are the same obviously. The breakfast was lovely, the location was good. It is super quiet and relaxing

The host was very nice and friendly. He reached out to me a week in advance to check in on my arrival. He provided many restaurant recommendations. The residence is very old, built in 1910, so really cool place.

This is not a hotel as advertised. It is a Bed and Breakfast. There is no lobby, no receptionist, and you dont simply come and go at your leisure any time of day. You have to ring a bell to notify staff that you want to leave, and you want to return.
