El hotel Umi superó nuestras expectativas, es un hotel relativamente nuevo que se nota le están dando mantenimiento constantemente. Las habitaciones son muy amplias con un diseño increíble. Nuestra habitación que elegimos es la rooftop with ocean view , es enorme el espacio que tienes en el roof con tu alberca privada y una vista increíble al mar, no nos esperábamos que estuviera así; lo disfrutamos muchísimo. El beach club del hotel tiene muy buena música y el servicio excelente. El desayuno es muy bueno y lo sirven todos los días hasta la 1 pm , la comida del hotel buenísima y los precios muy accesibles. La ubicación del hotel es perfecta , está a unos cuantos pasos de los mejores restaurantes para salir a cenar ( ejemplo: hartwood , casa banana, arca) todo a 5 minutos caminando. El servicio de todos los trabajadores del hotel es excepciónal , mención especial para José Luis y Manuel en restaurante y Eliseo en recepción Regresaremos pronto a Umi !

Best vibe

We really enjoyed our stay at UMI. The hotel is well located and close to some of the best restaurants in the zona hotelera so you don’t need a car/taxi. Overall the hotel looks amazing and it’s just jungle around you. The room is very well kept with modern minimalist furniture and open floor plan. The restaurant offer slightly pricy but great food with a mix of international dishes with a few Mexican gems. The staff is very welcoming and available. Sometimes it’s hard to get them if you’re staying at the beach club beach club as they don’t walk often around there. Considering the hotel has been open only for c 1 year, there are a few things to improve: 1) hairdryer (there are not as many as the rooms so one night we had to wait for someone else to finish using it which for the price we are paying for the room is not acceptable); 2) we often had to ask for a refill of the shampoo and shower gel as they are little and don’t allow more than 3 showers per day. The staff was very fast to take the additional ones to us though. 3) there are very few shady spots at the beach cloud which is not entirely convenient considering how strong the sun can be. 4) the prices of extra services (eg tours, massages, taxis) book via the hotel are extortionate and circa double what you can easily find outside.
