Downtown Designer Apartments by ULIV

This area of Tijuana is like staying on the strip in Vegas - like on the actual street. The unit is directly above (one floor above street level) a very busy street that does not slow down until about 4a and then starts back up at about 11a when businesses open. Every business plays music out on the sidewalks, very loud motorcycles and cars with their music playing very loud is experienced in the apartment as if you were standing on the street. I had to leave and find another place to stay. When I tried to process a refund for the end of my long trip, I gave a full day's notice that I would be leaving and the property manager said they could not help and kept sending me back to Hotels.com. Hotels.com said they reached out to the property and they denied a refund. I was disappointed at their unwillingness to help when I had 5 nights left on my reservation and their original cancellation policy was 24hrs notice. :( The bathroom also smells really bad - like sewage - and the shower is just as described in other reviews - even though the property manager told me it was fixed before I booked. This might be a good option if you are just going to party and will be wasted when you come back to sleep. Despite the amenities, it is not conducive to managing or recovering from medical treatment.

Parking for our loft was 2nd floor and at checkout because we had to leave key we could not access parking floor

There was no breakfast, but the property was really nice and modern.

The lighting could be brighter

This is in a very secure beautiful high rise condo/apartment building. Secure parking and nice amenities. Also very modern industrial decor. My wife and I come down to TJ every couple of months for weekend getaways. We’ve stayed at most of the hotels in centro (Revolucion) and after finding this building, I may just continue coming here. It’s centrally located to clubs, shopping, and restaurants. The host was very easy to work with and made a special accommodation for us. My only complaint is the apartments this host has only has one TV per apartment. We prefer to have one in the living room and bedroom. We had to move them back and forth. The same hist or at least company has multiple apartments in multiple buildings, and all hunky have one TV. I recommend this host, building, and apartment!!

Lugar muy limpio y agradable con todo para pasar un día o un fin de semana excelente la encargada la Sra. Blanca un amor de persona .. a mi me toco un depa en el 1er piso si tienes problem para dormir no te lo recomiendo ya que es ruidoso (por el party de la Revo) yo dormí genial .. como obsevacion no tiene A/C en la recámara ni abanico nada (106) . solo hay un minisplit en la sala para todo el cuarto y a medio día si se puso caliente la recámara .. la alberca un poco sucia el agua (nada del otro mundo) pero ojalá cuiden eso las vistas muy padres 😍

2nd time staying here. Beautiful full apartment. Just like in the pictures. Only negatives, all typical of downtown TJ: 1. Noise from clubs - used ear plugs to sleep. 2. Strong sewer smell from bathroom - kept bathroom door closed and fan running. 3. Both times on 1st floor - didn’t get view shown in pictures.
