USFriendly staff, good location, and the A/C worked well. Spirulina, the restaurant across the street, has great food, drinks, and ambiance.
Street noise and light gets into the rooms a lot, hot water in the shower only works after some hours of sunlight or something, the pool is a joke - tiny! Alas the ocean view has been hampered by a big unfinished building between the hotel and the beach. I had to make several changes to my groups reservation right before and during our stay and despite multiple attempts I never received a response from the hotel through booking.com and the local staff were not empowered to solve the logistical puzzle I was making for them.

The facilities overall lack maintenance, the door handles are falling off, the appliances in the bathroom are falling apart, the toilet doors didn’t close and are rusty. It requires a major maintenance and makeover
