Hotel Lucine

Hotel staff are always friendly and helpful. Hotel is in a great location, just a walk across the street to the beach and restaurants are all close. Rooms are comfortable. Great rooftop bar with. Wonderful view of the gulf. The hotel bar is cozy also.

Location was great. Staff lovely. Liked the pool and water at the pool. Drip coffee was welcome.

A bit tired - room could do with refresh. Room quite small and very overlooked.

Amazing staff. We were pampered the minute we walked through the and until the very last second as we left. My guy Miller made sure we were taken care of any time he spotted us. These are the kind of employees you take care. He took excellent care of us. In fact the whole staff. Rooms clean and beautiful. Definitely a place to come back to. Beautiful views sitting out the deck, amazing food and drinks, gorgeous pool and pool area. Again we will be back.

We had a wonderful stay at Lucien! The property is beautiful, parking was easy around the area, the beach was just across the street, the staff at the restaurant and poolside was incredible and we just had a really wonderful time! Cannot wait to go back:)

This stay was great. The staff are all friendly and welcoming. The rooms are clean with great shampoo/conditioner; just all the little things that make a hotel nice. Titi, the maintenance man, was so friendly; he should be the hotel ambassador. The pool was clean even during the busy times.

Food was outstanding and staff were the best.

The hotel is a lovely but the rooms are getting a bit worn. The beds are comfortable; the food and beverage are thoughtful and on point. We wish there was a chair in the room. We've stayed here several times, we highly recommend it, and love the hotel vibe. The staff is wonderful.

Very cute property - loved the overall vibe. Some areas are needing some updates/paint. The rooms are tiny, but comfortable beds. The bathroom could have been cleaner. There was a seashell on the floor when we arrived. The staff is amazing - super friendly and helpful!

Mornings can start with yoga, water aerobics, or a cold plunge, and evenings bring live music with gorgeous Gulf views. The on-site dining is outstanding - every restaurant served fresh, flavorful meals that made it hard to leave the property. The heated pool is perfect for relaxing, but the real highlight is the staff — incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely invested in making your stay memorable. If you're looking for a hotel with style, great amenities, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere, Hotel Lucine should be at the top of your Galveston list.

Enjoyed the retro look of this hotel. The pool area is pretty cool. Great staff who were friendly and helpful. The bartender Riley makes an amazing Old Fashioned and Miller is funny, friendly and helpful. The front desk staff was awesome as well. Loved the comfortable bed and soft sheets and towels. If you're looking for something different on the Seawall I recommend giving this a try. Pet friendly too which I thought was pretty cool.
