Hands down the best hotel in Galveston! I booked this spot as a mini dog vacation for my boys, and everything exceeded expectations. The attention to detail and friendliness of the staff were impeccable. The food was outstanding—the fish sandwich is an absolute must-try! The location is perfect, right across from the beach and easy to find. The vibe is quaint yet modern, with a stylish California-inspired décor that makes it feel fresh and inviting. Truly a gem in Galveston!

Boutique hotel with nice common areas like lobby, bar and pool. It would be nice if the same attention was put into the rooms though. The rooms are quite small with no seating other than the bed and no where to hang wet suits and towels unless you had one of the few balcony rooms. I like that they keep some of the vintage feel but there are many signs of wear, especially in the bathroom. The rooms upstairs seem to be a bit bigger (we stayed downstairs and friends stayed upstairs).

This is a great spot, right on the beach. It is an old hotel that has been marvelously remodeled. The staff is outstanding, the cocktails are excellent and the food at The Fancy, their restaurant, is great. This is a worthy stop if you are in the area. It feels like time travel.

Absolutely love The Lucine ! The staff if so very friendly , good wine, food and the rooms were fabulous !! Can't wait to come back !!

Stayed here as a family of four, lovely place, real art deco feel to it, you feel like you are in a set for a Tarantino movie, rooms are good size, spotlessly clean and the pool area is lovely. The staff are so attentive in all areas, met a really nice guy called Miller who went out of his way to be as helpful as possible, we did not eat here so i can not comment but the cocktails were very good.

Quality subpar sold as 5 star when in reality is a motel! No rugs in the room Floor was very very dirty The toilets are heard from rooms away Subpar Stay at Galvez or Tremont
