Xambé

Priscilla was an amazing host in giving us suggestions on how and where to go and so was the guy (forgot to ask for his name) who works in the evenings. He was of a great help in recommending that we rent a scooter to move around (we highly recommend!!). The room was very pretty (exactly as shown in the pictures) clean, bed was comfortable and good AC level. They have stairs (4 levels) but an elevator too. The rooftop is really pretty, great sunset view and the pool was a plus especially considering the seaweed issue in Mexico. Quiet neighborhood, we slept well considering that there’s a lot of construction going on in Tulum. Let’s not forget the dog 🥹 I lost my boyfriend to him ;’)

The only thing I would add is that it wasn’t cleaned regularly so don’t be surprise to find dead mosquitoes in the water…

This place is brand new, only 4 months old since it opened. The staff is extremely friendly and willing to help you by answering your questions or by simply confirming a taxi when needed. I would stay there again, the only con I didn't like is that the closest convenience store is "walking distance" but the roads are very confusing [we got lost].

We had a nice experience. Beautiful room, huge matrass. Friendly staff. Very nice swimming pool.

The location was not great. The region is fully in construction.

Customer service was great however bad location nothing is in walking distance a taxi to anywhere is 20$ we rented a scooter which was fun, the beach and downtown area are roughly 15-20mins away

Very beautiful place to stay

I was almost captured and extorted by cartel police. This place is unsafe. I was nearly killed and kidnapped.

Quiet location, 15 min bike ride to beach Restaurant 10-15 min walk Room spacious, rooftop pool is great Staff are friendly and helpful Only negative thing to say is our room was only partially clean. Bathroom/toilet was dirty and garbage was full on arrival Restaurants in surrounding area are fairly expensive. Taxis are easy to get to go to beach. Beach roads are very congested but easy to get taxi back

Great place to stay in Tulum

I got in and it was the first day for employee. He told me I couldn’t have the room that I booked because tigers would eat my dog. I think that I was the only person there that night. There were no other guests for my first 2 days. The place where hotel is located has a lot of construction so construction workers all over the place. Power went out for two days and I was alone so I felt very unsafe. There was no running water either during those two days. Two couples ended up showing up. There is no amenities. No shop. No coffee. I asked for water but they were out of that. Nobody speaks English. The place is very small. 4 floors with 4 rooms on each. I ended up leaving 2 days early and paying for a different hotel room to feel more safe. I guess you get what you pay for but underwhelmed.

Quiet getaway for those looking for a more intimate jungle feel. Plenty of development in the area so be mindful that you still will be in a neighborhood that is actively undergoing construction. Would book again for multiple couples trips.
