The Port Hotel

Great location and a wide variety of breakfast options.

We were there for 4 days and the room as not cleaned, despite us putting up the “please clean” sign on our door. Had to message the porter for extra toilet paper.

Beautiful property and a nice departure from the cold, boring rooms of most hotels. The bed was extremely comfortable, the furniture was beautiful and the amenities like the fireplace and tub were wonderful. I appreciated a well stocked fridge for a quick snack/breakfast and the ability to grab ice and glasses as needed.

The location and the staff were very helpful and friendly. I liked the classic decor of the room

No elevator and no desk, chair or refrigerator in our room

The Spa Room was one of the most incredible rooms we’ve ever stayed in! It was beautifully decorated and felt so warm and inviting. The fireplace was a wonderful bonus, and the spa Jacuzzi tub was absolutely amazing. We also loved the common area on the second floor—it had every kitchen item and snack you could possibly want. We were so pleasantly surprised by all the thoughtful touches and would definitely book this hotel again for future visits!

This really can’t be changed, but climbing the stairs was a bit tricky for us. Still, the room was so worth it—we’d happily make the climb again!

This is a beautiful historic hotel located in a safe, great area. We loved that we could just park our car for two days and walk to everything. There were so many great restaurants in walking distance. Our room was gorgeous! Loved the decor and the fireplace.

The Port Hotel is a little gem in this city. The outside of the building does not do justice to the exceptional comfort and cleanliness of the rooms and hospitality of the friendly staff. The restaurant and bar on the first floor are an added comfortable ambiance to the stay.

I was skeptical upon arrival and viewing the entrance to the hotel. That quickly melted once we climbed the stairs to the room. We can't wait for the elevator to be installed!
