Coratel Inn by Jasper Iowa Fairfield

The room was well stocked but unattended barking dogs disturbed the quiet. Having housekeeping knocking on doors to check for service at 8 am was aggravating. They should be directed by the desk to rooms where guests have checked out. The complimentary breakfast was rather poorly stocked.

Very nice and helpful staff

When I made the reservation, I was under the impression that my room would look like the one in photos. I was shocked. The room was very dated, and it smelled like years worth of heavy cigarette smoke. My daughters and I stayed in the room for maybe 10 minutes, before we decided to leave. I paid over $200 for this room. I was scammed. I learned a lesson though. I have never had this happen before, but it will definitely not happen again! I hope someone reads this, but I'm sure it will be buried by fake 5 star reviews.

nice spot, the bathroom was quite spacious, the room was good, the breakfast was quite good, it has a really good courtyard as well, nice parking spots too.

The new owners are really making an effort to fix up this property. Housekeeping staff were very efficient and clean.

Easy to find.

Window coverings let a lot of light in. Hard to sleep with that much light.

Came to town for a family funeral. The hotel was very nice, the ladies at front desk were awesome & great value.

This hotel isn't ready for guests. There was some kind of leak or sewer issue that caused the side door to be propped open with fans going. The pool was empty - that part of the hotel appeared to be closed and un-airconditioned (that is what my balcony looked out onto). that photo is not a photo of a room in this hotel. my hair dryer wasn't mounted on the wall (there were two unmounted ones). it worked unmounted but the tag appeared to have caught on fire at some point. the lady training another lady at the front desk was kind of rude.
