Konocti Harbor Resort

Ants in the bathroom was unpleasant. Air condioning in the 100 deg heat was inadiquate. The shower had only hot water. Restaurant and bar are closed during the week, which was not clear on the website and closest restaurant is 20 min drive. Bed was comfortable. View of the lake was great. Free charging was a nice bonus.

Had a great stay , brought back lots of memories!

The Konockti Harbor Inn is one of my favorite places. I have been going there my entire life. It evokes great childhood memories for me. It needs a little TLC but it has a very cool old vibe. I was disappointed that I arrived to late on Sunday to have a drink and some food by the pool. but it is a sign of the times now a days. Things are more difficult for everyone. I still love to stsy there though.

The room was newer and comfortable. However, the grounds are old, strange, and dilapidated, and the service at the desk and cafe was slow and careless.

I remember 25 years ago staying at the Konocti Harbor Resort back when restaurants were open and there were regular concerts. We decided to see what it was like now that is has reopened after 15 year hiatus. We arrived during the weekday and found it empty. Literally one or two other guests (100 rooms) - perhaps because it was a weekday or very hot (100 plus degrees). Our room was nicely air conditioned but unfortunately neither the internet nor tv were not working. The onsite restaurant was only open on weekends. There was a continental breakfast advertised - however when we went in the morning there was nothing set up. The pool was nice - however little shade. We decided to leave a day early as the heat made it difficult to do any activities. Plus staying in a room without internet nor tv reception is boring. Staff was nice and accommodating. But the hotel needs to iron out some housekeeping issues to make staying here close worth the close to $200 we paid. It is weird staying at an empty hotel - maybe they should just open on weekends for hotel guests.

My 1st impression of this Resort was, it was BIG! If you are looking for a place with a lot of history in music, close to Clear Lake, wonderful Sunrises and sunsets! and great access to Clear lake

All is excellent, actually I don’t know why the resort has 3.9 on google maps because all was perfect, perfect customer service, rooms absolutely clean, restaurant is awesome, good pool area, and the food was really good.

Amazing service, clean pool, clean rooms, manager was absolutely amazing especially with what we went through he took such good care of us, the front desk girl could be a little more friendly, but overall I will definitely come back again planning couple trips again this year

Beautiful panoramic views. Super cute and comfortable rooms. The pool was amazing, very big, beautiful 360 view while in the water of the lake and the mountains. The property had flowers and was absolutely beautiful. Breakfast in the cafe was really good with a beautiful view of the lake. Would stay here again.

The property had a terrific lake view and was clean. The resort charged $40 for "resort" and "property" fees (???). The front desk could not tell us what these fees covered. The only thing open was a pool and a small store. All three on site advertised restaurants and bars were closed. The marina and kayak rental was closed. We couldn't use anything we were interested in, but still had to pay the fees. The WiFi was terrible and they only had Roku TV. Then to top it all off, the power went out in the morning and I had to shower in the dark and could not use my blow dryer. Not their fault, I understand, but the lack of amenities was unforgivable, there should not have been a charge for these things. The place has potential, but its not there yet by a long shot.
