Suburban Studios Verona - Staunton North

We stayed for 1 night for JMU graduation. It’s a basic motel right off 81, exactly as you’d expect. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was surprisingly good compared to other motel continental breakfasts we’ve had.

I have stayed here several times and have always been pleased.

Left to stay somewhere else for the night. Room was in disrepair (lights without bulbs, lampshades beat up, lamp hanging from wall, electrical outlet melted, unpleasant smell in room). And property was noisy and busy.

Staff was friendly close to a lot of places

Wasn’t the cleanest. Beds was good though just the room wasn’t the cleanest

shower had no pressure at all. Smell of weed outside the door and some clientele looked shady.

nice room & amenities

It was a good place to stay, pretty quiet area too. Staff were nice and helpful. There is a very rude old man that works there who isn’t particularly friendly not just to residents but also to other staff. Overall though we liked it.
