Hôtel Swexan

The hotel was pretty and the staff was nice but for the price I expected a bit more. For 1500/night I would not have expected our shower door to catch and also leak onto floor. I also found our room very loud. You could hear the street traffic until early morning. I tried to get a fan but all they could offer were ear plugs.

My fiancé and I came to celebrate our one-year anniversary. We had appetizers and drinks at Léonie, then dinner at Stilwell’s — everything was amazing! Highly recommend Melanie at Léonie. After dinner, we came down to Isabelle’s for a nightcap. The staff was very attentive and provided excellent service. I highly recommend this place for a nice dinner, or even just drinks and appetizers!

great stay - room was well appointed and very comfortable. great dining options with stunning views. well equipped gym with a variety of quality machines and in a central location.

The Swexan was a complete unknown to me prior to this stay. The elegance of the facility, the attentiveness of the staff, the quality, and luxury, of the rooms, the outstanding dining and drinking options, and the seeming privacy afforded to me in the center of Uptown Dallas quickly won me over. Swexan is now my go-to Dallas hotel!

amazing property, great restaurants and guest amenities

This hotel is simply incredible. The staff at Swexan are top tier and second to no one in the area. Swexan is my new favorite Dallas hotel.

When a hotel in this price range decides to allow a film crew in to take over large parts of the property, close streets around it so guests that happen to be driving to the hotel can't get to it due to various film crew trucks, police, blocked streets, a myriad of one-way streets around the hotel that already make it challenging to get to, etc., at minimum, a large part of the stay should be comp'd for the guest's inconvenience. I happened to meet the general manager who indicated he would take care of this but, of course, that never happened. If you're going to rent the hotel as a filming location, fine, but do the right thing and close that day off for other events and guest stays. Alas, like all businesses these days, psychopathy runs amuck and all the business (and the people running it) care about are themselves, guests and clients be damned.
