Celebrity Inn

Beware of the changing prices for this motel. I booked here during the Glenn Miller Festival at which my daughter was competing in the scholarship competition and (stupid me) didn't even think to double check on the room price. It never even occurred to me that during the festival the motel would inflate their usual rate so substantially. I paid more for this out of date, plain, basic--but clean--room than I pay for a room in downtown Chicago. $100 a night during the Festival. Left an incredibly bad feeling with me, even though I acknowledge I was stupid not to have specifically double checked on the price. Live and learn.

Clean, good wifi, free guest laundry, helpful frontdesk, McDonalds and other restaurants close to the motel but no breakfast. Not modern decor but everything works fine anyway. Refrigerator and microwave in the rooms. I have stayed here before and will come back.
