Basic necessities, updated and new

Hotel shuttle was a mess, customer experience was very bad. No one answered the number they give you to call, shuttle took 1.5 hours to catch and is outsourced to another company. The hotel had apparently 1 staff member who handled the guests + shuttle, which just meant the no one coordinated shuttle pick up and guests were stranded at the airport without possible contact to the hotel. Truly awful experience.

I had to call the hotel for the airport shuttle and the front desk didn’t pick up for over 10 minutes. The shuttle came one hour later after calling multiple times. My roaming bill will probably be more than a taxi ride would’ve cost. When I asked for a receipt the lady said that I get it in the morning. After telling her I leave at 4:45 AM, she assured me the desk is occupied 24/7. When I left in the morning there was only a key drop off box and no human at the counter. I still haven’t received my receipt/bill.

The building was nice, once you got inside.

The neighborhood was very scary. Deep in the heart of industrial and grunge, not to mention what looked like homeless and drug users. Also DID NOT LIKE that had to pay 30 per night for parking and it was valet parking only, so no going back out to the car, or going out to the car ( although the parking people were very nice and efficient )

Close to the airport, suitable for a short stay. View of Manhattan from the breakfast room. The train station to NY is about 1,5 km away, it's a pleasant walk.

The breakfast selection runs out quickly, you have to go early to have breakfast. We waited a long time for the shuttle bus from the airport to the hotel, finally took a taxi.
