SpringHill Suites by Marriott Kalamazoo Portage

So quiet and clean. Front desk staff kind, pleasant , helpful. Felt safe. Bed was comfortable,Shower was modern. Seems like quality materials used from the carpet to the bed and bedding to the bathroom floors, sink and toilet.

The Staff was amazing. Marisol and the Young Trainee were amazing

Stayed here twice and loved it both times! Staff is helpful and kind rooms are beautiful and clean. They also have a good breakfast selection.

It was a place to stay, I was there for a memorial so I wasn’t in a fun mood. They had fluffy scrambled eggs which was always full during breakfast hours. There was always someone there asking how my room was. They only cleaned my room for my third day of my 3 day stay.

We just had another great stay at the Springhill Suites in K'Zoo. We have a freshman athlete at WMU and have spent ~ 12 weekends in Kalamazoo. We've stayed at a couple hotels and a couple Airbnbs. However, once we found this gem, we haven't stayed anywhere else. The hotel is new and service from everyone we've engaged with (especially Kevin!) has been great. As a lifetime Platinum Elite member, I've been in many Bonvoy properties and to me, this one competes with any of them. The fitness center is also excellent. I'm not an early eater so I can't speak to breakfast, but if you're looking for a place to stay in Kalamazoo, look no further. Now, if we can just get Kalamazoo to be a little warmer!

New hotel with spacious rooms and common area with free breakfast. As good as the hotel is the staff is outstanding from Roberto the General Manager to the front desk like Jaydon and the room cleaning people, all 5 star !!! We had previously checked in at the Town Place Suites in kalamazoo and had to leave that same night because of the filthy conditions of the room. I called over to the Springfield suites at 10:30PM they were able to take our reservation for the next five days.

The design of the room was great !

Beautiful clean room, but the worst check in I've ever experienced. The attendant was slow, didn't greet me, had a bad attitude and was banging on the keyboard. I've never seen anything like it in a hospitality setting. Will definitely try someplace else next time because I didn't feel welcome at all.

Very nice hotel in Portage Clean, nice rooms and enjoyed the hot tub

Had a splendid stay during my trip to Kalamazoo, nice facilities; very welcoming hosts.
