Extended Stay America Suites - Huntsville - Madison

Staff was amazing but the room was dirty. The bathroom was gross. Other than that can complain.

First room we were given was filthy and had feces in the toilet and hair in the bathroom. We were given a second room that wasn’t much better. Very dusty and the floor was covered in hair and dust. The hallways and elevator were the same. Filthy. We visit Huntsville often and won’t be staying again.

Everything was fine until I had a guy friend over and apparently they just gave up my room key to him randomly. He went to the front desk and asked to have a room key cause he lost his even though the room that he needed a key for was not in his name. They willingly gave him a key to get into my room that I paid for out of my pocket. Even though I gave them my ID to verify me . So that means that my room keys that I was given when I first checked in did not work. Luckily, I still got into the building and I still got into my room. I think I’m just lucky that nothing of mine was stolen or was misplaced. I thought hotels were more secure than that, but I guess not this one?

The first room was uncleaned and the second room somebody open the door to the room and the third room was uncleaned and last but not least the fourth room TV didn"t work and no shower curtain. Worse stay of my life.

Property was fine for the price as it’s a newer building (or at least recently remodeled). But room was definitely rushed during cleaning. There was an entire fake eyelash on the floor by the trashcan. The towels had some yellow spots on them & overall the surfaces could’ve been wiped down better. It wasn’t bad for the price- but, a more thorough cleaning would’ve been nice. Overall 6/10.

Location was great.

Room was not ready..check in time was 3:00 pm.we got there maybe 2.30..they told us it wasn't ready to come back at 3 so we left came back at 3..still wasn't ready..they told us to come back at 4..we gave them extra time made it back at 4.30 it was ready.but had a little smell to it but we got rid of it..the lady said the reason it took so long was because several ladies called out of work and they only had 2 house keepers..because of the holiday they knew they was supposed to be there but didn't show up..the front desk ladies was very kind tho. The shade in the room wouldn't come down we had to used one of the sheets on the bed for a night curtain..

We got there after making reservations (8pm) and our room wasn’t ready. Young lady gave us another room and when we walked in the room it was occupied. Went back to her to get another room, it was also not clean. Spoke to Shawna ( General Manager) she was very friendly and even offered us a refund on our room.
