Candlewood Suites - Joliet Southwest by IHG

my stay was good. it was a return trip from 1 year ago. facilities remain clean!! I was impressed. location good for what I need.

The rooms are absolutely beautiful, clean. You get what you pay for and I’m telling you, this gets five stars.

Began with wrong room type ... eas to be mobility accessible ... put in room where getting to bathroom almost not accessible. Offered to have staff helped to get wheel chair to bath (clearly not a help.unless trips to toilet scheduled thru nite. Ended with room keys inactivated at exact check out time. Leaving me putside room and disbled friend trapped inside. Housekeeping supervisor smiled when I went for help .. but spoke NO English. Multiple unhappy guests at front desk each time I went there.

Good suite. Nice bathroom, but no water pressure

The hotel was nice and clean, everyone was friendly especially Alex. My first room on the first floor had some mold in the ceiling and Alex got us moved to the top floor expeditiously without question. The second room was excellent. The pond in the back was great as well as the fire pit. This place is not perfect like any other hotel but I will stay here again when I return. I let the reviews persuade me not to stay here at first but when I arrived at the location I chose instead it was horrid and we ultimately ended here which turned out to be a great decision.

There were minor imperfections all of which were rectified.

I loved the space in the room. It was perfect for us.

For a new facility this place has lots of small issues like holes in the ceiling , really poor repairs, leaks from above shower, poor TV cabeling, no one in the staff except front desk speaks english! All in all not recommended. This from one who has traveled across US and EU staying at IHG hotels.

Everything was wonderful! The hotel rooms and facilities were all modern, clean, and in excellent condition to the point of feeling brand new. The staff were friendly and courteous and the restaurant food was excellent. They had spacious exercise room and pool. I could go on and on about how much I enjoyed my stay here.
