Outer Banks Beach Club

The location, staff, and the beachfront rental was incredible.

Loved everything!

I like the concept of what they have, needs some fine tuning.

Me and my family traveled 6 hours to the outterbanks beech club. We where aware there might be some cost of living items we might have had to purchase, wasn’t expecting to purchase just about everything. The only thing we did not purchase was dish washer tablets and dishes/utinsles. They did have basic seasoning even salt and pepper we had to buy. We get there and need to use the bathroom, there where several cockroaches on the floor in the main clubhouse, and we checked the beds for bedbugs because we saw tha cockroaches and glad there wasn’t any. We get checked in and I was asked for a credit card to keep on file incase anything broke, no mention of a $100 security deposit at all, in person or on the booking app. The reseptionist called me and had an attitude on why my card declined and I had to give her one of my family members card numbers. This is all in the first 3 hours of our stay. Moving to checkout was a bigger pain than checking in. I had asked for a refund on the security deposit because they had my card on file and I said if there where any damages to charge my card ending in x, the lady I spoke with couldn’t get it through her head I wanted the money on my family members card refunded and that they where to charge my card if anything where to go wrong.

Location is excellent, the staff was warm and welcoming and quick! Rooms are clean and roomy.

Nice location, close to everything. The beach was a 2 min walk.

Many places close early, so you are not going to find many food places open past 9pm.

Indoor pool heat was not working. Pool and hot tub needed maintenance. We had to change rooms after the first night due to scheduling conflicts.

We liked the location and loved the beach. The unit has everything you need. There are lots of things to do like tennis, basketball, corn hole right on the property.

Elevator! Was not operating and we were on 4th level (counting bottom level). Depending on who you get in the office, most have very dry personalities and are not very knowledgable as far as restaurants or things to do. They simply point you off to the brochures. When you greet guests, you should be enthusiastic (vacation mode). I've stayed here 2x and this is just how they are in the office. With this visit, both rooms were NOT wiped down and fully vacuumed. One unit smelled horrible like fish and had dog food on the rug. The other unit had hairball on rug, and dining table, counters, shelf in fridge, and fridge door handle were dirty. Elevators in the round units (3 bedrooms) are filthy.
