SpringHill Suites by Marriott New York Queens

We highly recommend this hotel. The breakfast was great, room service was good, and the team was incredibly helpful (they even helped us get a power adapter). Checkout was effortless, though we did experience a significant delay and ..... during check-in

On a negative note, our check-in experience was very poor. Despite having fully prepaid for our stay, the two staff members on duty refused to honor our booking, leaving us and our two young children waiting in the lobby for over two hours late at night. They even insisted we pay the full amount again. It took a call to Booking.com support to resolve the situation, after which we were finally given a key. It was an exhausting and stressful start to our trip, and I believe those specific employees require better training. Fortunately, the rest of the hotel staff was excellent, which made the contrast between the check-in experience and the rest of our stay quite jarring.

the rooms were nice for the area. staff was nice and helpful. their breakfast was one of the best I've had at a hotel.

The room is not very sound proof from the door and the windows.
