Bywater Suite Hotel

We loved the beautiful and newly renovated location. The pool was great the hot tub was huge and so nice. The staff were all amazing, nice and helpful. The room was spacious and very clean. The bed were nice. A little firm for us but not terrible! Was pretty quiet. Great for families and groups. Parking was gated and it felt very safe and secure. Someone followed us in the gate and they addressed that car instantly. Would come back here every time we visit for sure!!

Beds could be a bit softer. But not bad! Hot tub smelled like it needed more chemicals for sure. Price of parking was high but that seemed normal.

Lovely place that is a short uber to New Orleans’ sites. Pool area is great as well.

Only reason it’s not a 10 is because when we arrived it was a bit strange to the normal check in with no one at reception. It also smelled of weed, appreciate this is nothing to do with the hotel.

The property and rooms were beautiful! We really loved that the majority of the property was renovated buildings that had been completely refurbished for a whole new use.

This is not a “dislike”, but it was a bit of a ways away from some of the places we like to frequent while in New Orleans. We knew this when booking, so it wasn’t a surprise. It was a trade-off: good bargain for a great room with a bit of distance vs. exorbitant price for an ok room with a prime location. We made the right choice with Bywater. We were celebrating our daughter’s 16th birthday, so we had our own room and bathroom. She and her best friend had their own room and bathroom. I cannot imagine the chaos had the four of us had to share ANYTHING!

Accommodations were great. We were on a family trip and unaware that the pool was a party pool. Lots of loud kids well into the night.
