Autrain Motel

In a great location but room was room down making it feel less clean.

The staff was very friendly and there are lots of yummy treats at the store and the most beautiful beaches within a few steps. Couldn’t ask for a better stop.

Basic stop no amenities but room was satisfactory for an over night stay while traveling.

Just what we needed. A basic room for a good night's sleep, very near Lake Superior

Stay here if you have no other choices.

Despite the hard bed and aged faciity, the staff was excellent and accommodating to our every request from helping with the wifi to providing ice, and chilling our wine. I especially loved their friendliness and genuine concern.

Very limited parking. It’s an old tired venue that is cramped but functional if you’re just looking for a place to crash. For those not familiar with Yooper” culture know that pasties have aphrodisiac qualities that may incline other guests to work off the effects until the wee hours of the morning on the other side of paper thin walls.

I loved how friendly and helpful the staff was. They accommodated our request for extra late entry with no problem. Worked out perfectly for our purpose. However looking for a place to stay for a few days, might want to find something with more comfortable beds. Otherwise cute little space.

Very Poorly kept up lights not working Never seen since a small TV very disappointed in this hotel will be looking for a hotel on other sites from now on

Very clean. Cute place to stay. The people who run this place are super friendly and always offer their services if needed. They run the Market/Gas Station right next door which is super convenient. They also make delicious baked good, daily! You can also walk to other places that are around and very easy walk to Lake Superior. This is not an extravagant place. If you like uppity stays, this is not for you! Please don’t go thinking it’s a Hyatt! It’s very warm and cozy and great for sleep. Very friendly!!
