I was injured and limping after my hike and when I checked in, the staff was immediately helpful getting me a crutch to help me walk, sending a full bag of ice to my room, and when I unexpectedly got a ride to the hospital the next morning , they credited me all my money back for the next night when I checked out early. Also the cookies are amazing.

We loved this place, reminded me of our camp in the UP. It was so warm and comfortable, the staff was friendly and welcoming. The food was incredible and I’m craving the homemade cookies. Would definitely stay there again!

"Great Place!"

We were only here for one night but it was the perfect stop before the Grand Canyon! Food was delicious at the lodge and the room was very clean and comfortable.

"Quick Stop en route to the North Rim"

8.0

Stopped over on our way up to the North Rim. It is a quaint little place and it offers a place to quickly recharge. Not much else available after that, so if you need to stock up this is the place to do it. Got some really yummy cookies! They were really, really good.

"Cookies great - shakes...don't bother"

6.0

I read the reviews about their milkshakes ahead of time, so decided to stop here on my way to the North Rim since I love milkshakes. The three cookies I got were unique and absolutely delicious, I truly enjoyed them. But, the shake? Well, think of a Wendy's Frosty on steroids and that's what you are getting. Now, if you're a passenger in a car, you might enjoy eating this. But, if you're driving solo like me, it was impossible for me to get anything through the straw, you can only consume this "shake" with a spoon. I don't even think any of it had melted by the time I reached the North Rim, and yes, the weather was still warm out. Ended up throwing it away.
