Harrison on the Beach

This property is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. I do not know how Expedia can allow for it to be offered. It was literally a hotel that they use for prostitutes probably, As we saw girls waiting in the entrance when we got there at 3 AM. It was dirty, There were roaches, tiles were lifted everywhere. The door to the room did not open and the front desk guy literally had to go get a coat hanger to somehow open it. The worst experience of our lives. I didn’t go elsewhere because my plane got there super late and it was literally 3 AM. I didn’t want to be looking around with my kids at that time and we were going to leave first thing in the morning to our cruise. I didn’t sleep all night being so scared. Expedia, please stop offering this hotel. We survived it by Miracle.

Our double queen room was small. Bathroom had broken tiles. Toilet was chipped. Electrical wires hanging out of the wall. No on site breakfast. Lobby was decent. Best part is the location. South of Fifth. Nice neighborhood. Ultra Festival weekend so prices were high and undeserved.

Hotel is fine for one night. Easy walk to beach and restaurants. It definitely shows its age.

Definitely a bait and switch hotel. We are usually not picky Travelers and are OK with hotels being simple. However, this stay has been bizarre. The location is great and the outside of the hotel and the lobby look nice. However, When we checked in the receptionists Did not speak any English. I had asked for a room that was quiet and we wound up in a room that was over a restaurant that played really loud music from 10 PM to 1 AM every night. The room literally shook. The room was unbelievably dirty. There were paint splashes everywhere, stains on the ceiling, our feet stuck to the floor, The faucet in the sink fell off and the stopper was not attached, the bathtub was rusty, The toilet was rigged with A coat hanger and rubber bands.. (my husband fixed it)… There was Only one side of a towel rack, but no bar to hang your towel on… The TV worked, but we couldn’t get the volume to turn down…. it was super loud and we had to wait in our room for 40 minutes for someone to come in with a new remote. The list goes on. I always trust Hotels.com… but you might want to take them off of your hotel list… the sad part is, it could be a really cute and clean hotel but no one seems to care about having return customers.

Need some fixing up and cleaning

Cheapest hotel in south beach on spring break. Wifi did not work TV did not work Air Conditioner/heater did not work Their computer system froze up and they could not make us keys and was locked out of room for 1 hour while they fought, trying to get the system back up. Could not even unlock my door manually with a master key. Warm water, but not hot water. Fire alarm randomly going off at night loud enough to make your head explode and the fire trucks would show up. Ceiling light in the room was flashing. I would strongly suggest you avoid the hotel hotel at all costs. It’s mismanaged and in dire need of maintenance.

Dirty, feeling unsafe, night shift staff look like drunk

Entire place smelled of smoke. Room had a hole in the wall that was terribly patched and the portable AC unit in the room was vemting to the outside, leaving a hole in the window. Electrical plugs didnt work. We checked in and checked out 20 mins later.

Very Clean and All Activities were in walking distance.
