Wild Rose Casino & Hotel Emmetsburg

The biggest negative was the smoke. For a non smoker it is hard to tolerate. The room has no fridge & microwave. The pillows were just mangled & horrible. Pros would be the excellent service by the gentleman waiter at the sports bar/ restaurant. The food was very good too.

I have stayed at The Wild Rose many times and it has always been a great place to stay. However I do really miss the restaurant upstairs and the hot breakfast. For the special winter rates you can't beat the price.

It is cheap. That the only positive. The casino isnt bad just a little small. Wish they had craps. The hotel on the other hand was terrible. The beds are so old and worn out. Very uncomfortable. The whole hotel has no working television which they inform you at check in and offer a $10 credit to there resturant as compensation. This place need an update.

Small town casino with average amenities. There is a very small non-smoking section at the casino but does not really matter because it is still heavily smoky. The whole casino smells of cigarettes. The staff was very friendly, rooms were clean but not updated. Overall a great stay, just stinky.

No TV service while there but they compensated us with either a food voucher or gambling voucher. Better than I expected for sure!

TV did not work!

The only thing I didn’t like was that there was no working TV in the hotel! For 2 days I had no TV that worked. The most disturbing part was that no one that worked in the hotel seemed to care!

One small restaurant.

It was a nice place to stay on our way to another destination. We didn't do anything in the small casino, but it seemed nice. The morning breakfast was good as well.
