Wild Rose Casino & Hotel Emmetsburg

Wish the room had a microwave and a refrigerator as i usually take food when i travel for work.

Hotel is in need of some TLC. Smells like smoke throughout. Bedding is very worn. Bugs by the windows. Duct tape used to repair the dresser. Lots of chipped paint. Cracked bathroom tiles. Breakfast is entirely packaged/proceed foods. Staff was friendly.

Nice clean room and very comfortable. Would definetly stay again

This property needs major updating , I don’t believe they have changed curtains, spreads, etc since opening several years ago. Also the casino and property has a small open no smoking area and the smoke hands over the entire inside of the casino . No ventilation ! I was getting g sick and had to leave . The staff is absolutely amazing though ! Very knowledgeable and helpful .

The hotel was very nice and it was clean and the rooms were comfortable and spacious. The pricing was very reasonable. They didn’t have a continental breakfast, but they had breakfast food items available and a small refrigerator and area. I have been to quite a few casinos in Vegas and in the upper Midwest and the odds were very good at these slot machines and I wok a fair amount of money. It is a smoking casino in. It gets a bit smoky in there. The non-smoking casino area was not glass in an open to the rest of the casino and the machines were pretty crummy. That’s the only criticism I have of this place. I also like the fact that the fees on the ATMs were very low. Most casinos charge $10 plus and they only charge three dollars. We wanted to see another casino and while it was a 90 mile drive south to Jefferson IA, they have another Wild Rose casino in Jefferson and it was a fun trip and a nice casino too. It was about the same size as Emmetsburg, but they had a whole bunch of different machines which made it interesting. I would definitely consider going back to the Wild Rose.

The hotel is older but clean . You do get the smokey smell from the casino downstairs. The room was a nice size and comfortable. We missed breakfast as it ends at 9. I would stay again for the price.

Very clean hotel. Unfortunately, the non-smoking rooms smelt like cigarettes.

Went to Clay co fair and was a close distance from Spencer where motels are jacked up 3x the normal price.
