Harborside Suites

We were meant to stay for five days/four nights. We left after an hour. Something about this place did not sit well with us. You could tell there were renovations made but the longer you looked you realize how rundown everything is. The sheets were dirty, the floors were uneven and dirty, there was cling film on the bedside table that was coming off, the door/lock looked can like they had been tampered with, the weather stripping was non existent and you could see and hear everything going on outside. The artwork was clearly made by someone on staff. 😅 The area has felt unsafe. I’ve stayed in plenty of two star hotels across the world and very few places I’ve gotten such an eerie feeling from. The lobby was dark and filled with laundry. I don’t know if it was because we went at the end of the season but ultimately this is a place I would not recommend. Trust your gut — when the price of four nights is the same as one night everywhere else on the Cape. That is a sign. Franchise hotels/motels will have a minimum standard and you could clearly tell this was privately owned and no one was checking up on this place.

Friendly staff, comfortable room. It will be nice when the pool is back in use and the grounds could use some landscaping.

Our townhouse was clean and spacious.Definitely would stay again.

"On paper" this motel isn't bad. The rooms were clean and recently updated. However, the room was very stark and sterile-looking. Bright white paint, super cold LED lighting, laminate floors, one very uncomfortable desk chair. The room was like an echo chamber. The rooms are not insulated at all; I don't know how this place stays open in the winter. Our door closed and locked, but it was very loose and no weatherstripping at all. We could feel the cold air coming through like it was a screen door. The bathroom, again, was ok on the surface, but the toilet was not installed correctly, so the entire thing moved. The shower had the laminate flooring on the bottom; not correct for a shower and will not hold up over time. The bedsheets were clean. Overall, given the bargain basement price for this hotel, I could not be too disappointed. I just wish the renovation was done with a bit more care and character.

Reverse fridge door, add table lamp, clean upstairs windows, toilet seat loose, missing outlet plate upstairs. TV service very confusing and user unfriendly. Sofa not really comfortable. Need sound proofing between units.

First impression in office building was not the best. Obvious construction of pool/ office building gave the impression that the property may have been closed. No one at Front desk for 10 minutes (the next day office locked at 9am ?). Things got better after check in and parked by the room, as there were a lot of guests. The room was also clean and updated. Keyless door, don’t forget to enter the code to “Lock” the door when you leave. Good inexpensive place to spend the night, if you are ok with minimal support from the staff.

was very spacious and conveniently located !! check in was quick and easy and staff was friendly and accommodating. Lots of parking . very nice townhome option . will stay again

There were people always sitting around the property talking and smoking at all hours of the day and night. We got home late one night and a pick up truck with 2 guys pulled in behind us, looked at us and then took off. Didn’t feel real safe there.

Did not like large fee for dog. Did not like management looking in my car, extensive cameras, watching us when we drove out of the parking lot and when we asked for help with the TV they were looking around the room. Did not like seeing a girl in the room across from us being a call girl for men.
