The Historic General Stanton Inn

Restaurant was decent.

If staying at the Inn during the summer, and you have not chosen a room within the historic part of the house, then you are paying a high price for a motel room. Awful, moldy smelling, loud AC units. The whole Inn is located right off the highway. Landscaping around the hotel was the pits. They tried to modernize each bedroom, but there is only so much one can do to a cheap main outer structure.

Very quaint

Nice location, very easy to get in and out. The only trouble was the water did not work properly.

Self Serv coffee was great 24 hrs Restaurant and Bar area was above par. Sunday morning Brunch was perfect, and my server was the best. Property was well maintained and plenty of parking.

Clean, old historic site and the restaurant

Shower has no pressure and was only luke warm. The bed frames are unstable and too large for the queen mattress

No fridge or coffee maker in the room, no hot water, no soap or lotion at the sink, no complimentary water. Could hear through the wall.
