No hand towels or kleenex

The location was convenient for the things I had to do.

The staff was rude as heck! We asked for towels it was like asking for a crabby patty formula! We got snarls from MANAGEMENT! She walked off mid conversation didn’t resolve me initial issue. While being there the elevator was out! So we only had the stairs to use.

Nice to see the hard floors, much cleaner and easier to sanitize. Being quite new is a great plus!

Lack of highly visible signs on main streets and 10 PM front desk closing though I can understand there would be a substantial savings allowing for more affordable room rates for travelers.

Very clean

The location was good for our purpose, which was attending a sporting clays shoot at Northbrook Sports Club.

This was a bare bones hotel, despite having a full size refrigerator, a microwave and a two-burner cook top. However, it had no coffee maker (free coffee was available in the lobby), no hair dryer, no cups (until I asked at the desk for some), only two pillows on the bed, no extra pillows or blankets available, a hanging rack, but no clothes hangers, no shampoo or conditioner, just a small bar of soap and a tiny container of shower gel.

I was supposed to check in for three nights and paid for the room only to find out when I got to town after driving five hours there were no rooms left so I was very disappointed

20 min wait for check in, no genuine apology, just slow/reluctant check ins. Questionable characters in/around the hotel. Some guests, some not. Looks nice on the outside, rooms were clean, but overall this hotel delivered the bare minimum, if that. Recommend booking elsewhere unless this is your only option.
