Waterpark and dog friendly with good walking areas outside made this a great getaway spot.
The plus side to the stay no one was in the water park area, so the kids were able to use the slide without waiting. The negatives, gum, rust, and trash on the stairs leading to the top of the slide. Soft spots in under the carpet while walking in the hallways on the second floor. Wallpaper is peeling up everywhere in the hotel. No waterslide supervision. They have a camera set up to watch for the person in front of you to finish the slide however the TV at the top is unplugged. The volleyball net is partially submerged in the pool. Both huge safety risks. The hot tub is warm at best. My wife and I joked the place is run by teenagers. I would not recommend to anyone.
We had a nice stay! But the property definitely needs a deep clean and some general upkeep done. The handrails at the water park to the slide were incredibly rusty and falling apart, carpets throughout need a good shampooing, and the arcade machines were not working well. The restaurant nice though! Staff were also friendly! We would go back, but it’s important to have the right expectations here…

Thumperpond is beautiful. Cozy and quiet. Nice staff also.
The overall stay was nice. If they fix a few things that was reported to them. And I think because of it being off season they were short staffed. So I believe it will be better in the summer hrs
Could hear every noise in the room above us and in the hall. Rooms need some maintenance work such as wall paper is peeling away. Wifi didnt work anywhere on the property. Chlorine was so strong in the water park it burned my eyes and nose and i didnt even swim, my son did. The waterpark was a blast for my kiddo. The property is beautiful.
Good restful stay. Found a crawling bug of some concern. I identified it as an Asian beetle.

The restaurant was under staffed. They consistently overcharged us for meals. The "resort" charged us $20 per day in resort fees which wasn't disclosed when we reserved the room and I have no idea what the charge was for. The only "amenity" they have is a pool which we didn't use.
