MainStay Suites Gatlinburg Downtown Area

The only thing I did not like was the other guest making noise and stomping around all night long complained to front desk they called but didn’t stop the noise I can say I payed way to much not to be able to relax in my room without it sounding like a marching band was upstairs but other than that the whole stay was nice

The hotel is very nice. The reason I did not give it 5 stars is that the description said it was in downtown Gatlinburg. That's not true. It's a 30 - 35 minute walk from the hotel to the start of the downtown area. In the summer heat & humidity, thats too far to walk. Thats very misleading.

The staff is friendly . Nice quiet area and close to attractions. The roads and drive to the hotel is good.

The property had good restaurant options. We mostly ate around our hotel which was walkable friendly especially having toddlers with us.

Front desk staff was borderline rude Hotel was noisy as heck The only positive were the rooms were very clean and it was convenient to downtown Gatlinburg
