The Swan Hotel

Right downtown with parking but quiet with a lovely view of the harbor and sound. Worth the extra $30 for a view room. Reasonable priced, clean, comfortable bed and pillows. Great location. We will stay here again. I don't know why it merits just a "2 star" rating. Old building?

Great little hotel right in downtown. Close to some great restaurants and fun shops.

The staff is very friendly. The rooms are clean but dated. For a one night stay, and close to the ferry terminal, it wasn’t bad. Suggest the carpet on the ramp be replaced. The rooms had coffee service, which is nice first thing in the morning. We had breakfast at the Hudson Cafe, which is highly recommended. We had dinner at Alchemy which was pretty good.

A great place to stay in Port Townsend.

I stayed in one of the cottages and it had everything I needed. Mine had a double bed, chairs and a small table, a desk area, a mini-fridge and microwave and bathroom with all amenities. The best thing about this hotel is the location. The whalewatching boats are just around the corner. There are two very good restaurants very close and more a short walk away. The marina is practically next door and the harbor a block away. Each cottage room has a designated parking spot. When I come back, I will stay in the cottages if at all possible.

Most "pet-friendly" properties are merely pet-tolerant. The staff at The Swan seem to actually enjoy having pets there.

Lovely property. Staff was so helpful, room was immaculate and a block away from downtown. Would definitely recommend and come back if we're in Pt Townsend again.
