Comfortable. Need full size mirror. Heat was marginal. Excellent front desk staff. Worked on heat immediately. Edward was helpful and caring. Liked secured parking. Housekeeping was excellent. Clear to Market Street and theaters. Would stay again.

Great room, affordable rates, friendly staff - all around enjoyable stay in a prime location. Easy access to get anywhere in the city.

Staying at Hotel Garret was a great experience. We loved the location, walking distance to anything we needed and having access to the pool/gym at soma house was a plus. Gabrriel at the front desk was awesome and made check in/check out smooth and answered all of our questions throughout our stay, thank you for everything!

Nice place to stay

I attended the annual Dreamforce conference. I had a rough start to my stay. The room was on the 1st floor and the peephole was broken - someone had stuffed toilet paper in it to block anyone from using it. The area was rougher than I expected and I was prepared to transfer my stay to another hotel. NATHAN was a great help to me. When I returned that afternoon he helped me get moved to the 5th floor and a much nicer room. I am thankful for his service and attention to detail. He made me feel like my experience during my stay mattered.

I had a good experience at Hotel Garrett. The property is currently being decorated and as such is being slowly upgraded. However - that said I think they REALLY need to replace the carpets in the corridors as currently on some of the floors they are heavily stained are this really lets the property down. The property is in two sections - the main building and then motel type rooms attached to the side of the hotel where there is a car park. These rooms have the aircon where as the rooms in the main building have ceiling fans. I was initially offered the motel style room but because of the area and accessibility from the main road (despite there being a 24 hour security guard) I felt these rooms are slightly more vulnerable, so I asked to be moved to the main building. The reception staff were very attentive and check in and check out was super easy. My room was on the 5th floor and of a good size. Very comfortable big bed and not too noisy outside to have the windows open. This is an above budget hotel but you do pay for what you get . Its in a good location for getting around but you do need to be a bit more alert in the area in the evenings. I felt completely safe in the hotel.
