Hotel Garrett

Very helpful and friendly staff. Love the location, walking distance from the bart and muni. And so much nicer than staying in the tenderloin area like I usually do! Looking forward to checking out the gym and the pool at the sister hotel a block away

De kamer en badkamer waren schoon, het bed ligt comfortabel en je parkeert je auto op het privé parkeerterrein.

Het hotel ligt in de getto van San Francisco. Doordat er rond het hotel veel (zombie)drugs gebruikende daklozen verblijven waan je je in een aflevering van The Walking Dead. S’nachts wordt er door deze daklozen veel geschreeuwd en dit hoor je ook op de kamer. Je krijgt er geen veilig gevoel van. Verder was er geen bad aanwezig terwijl dit wel was aangegeven bij de kamer op Booking.com, was het zwembad in het hotel aan de overkant van de straat. Daarnaast was bij het uit checken het voor de receptionist te moeilijk om een factuur uit te printen / te e-mailen. Bij aandringen dat het voor ons nodig was voor een declaratie bij de luchtvaartmaatschappij. Werd de receptionist zeer onbeschoft. We zijn toen met een onvoldaan gevoel vertrokken. Toen wij bij thuiskomst de manager hadden gecontacteerd was een factuur gelukkig wel mogelijk.

Gabriel and Edward on the front desk were very helpful. Helped me with printing stuff and other stuff. Really good folks.

Dropped off by Amtrak bus at Salesforce Tower so Hotel Garrett was a short walk. Both the folks I dealt with at check-in and checkout were not only pleasant but extremely helpful with my questions. The room was clean and comfortable with a very nice sink and bathroom area. Breakfast was a small selection of pastries that were delicious. Coffee was good and a nice sitting area. Not a fancy hotel but an excellent stay. Very close to trolleys, buses, BART and cable cars. On the map this might not appear as the greatest part of town but I felt very safe.

I truly enjoyed my stay at the hotel Garrett in San Francisco. It was OKAY for the price. First of all, I’d like to say that the front desk staff, especially Gabriel was awesome. He was courteous, helpful, and attentive to all our questions. Our room was very nice and well cleaned. I also enjoyed the continental breakfast each day. I would have written a five star review but for a few issues. There was no workout room onsite. The security’s presence was very poor. The hallways were not well lit. I don’t know if there was security cameras in the hallways because I didn’t see them. Because of the lack of presence of security, I didn’t feel as safe going to and from my room. It would have been nice to have a microwave and mini fridge in our room. (It would probably make the price rise🤔). I would consider staying here again.

This place has been an absolute delight! Upon arrival at the hotel, I was greeted by Gabriel, the friendly and pleasant front desk attendant. The beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable, and the spacious and clean room made it a great place to relax. The location was great for getting around. I highly recommend this place and would rate it 10 out of 10.

Just first I want to say Gabriel at the front desk was 10 out of 10. The way he made us feel comfortable as well as offer us early check inn, 🤩.The room was lovely the AC was espectacular , the black out curtains were great since we were coming late from bar hopping , returning back and been able to sleep all morning was fantastic great place would highly recommend the price was so good too 🥰 can’t wait to plan my next trip here .
