avid hotel North Platte by IHG

The staff was fine. Room is super small which is fine since I was traveling alone. Room seemed clean but bed looked super wrinkled and looked like someone had at least sat on it if not laid on it.

Extremely dirty room - hair all over the bed and reception did not care at all - first they said housekeeping was going to take care of it, then we got assigned to a different room and were promised a discount that never was taken off

When we showed up to check in, Kelli, the check-in staff, told us that all king bed rooms were down for maintenance. So we needed to be put in a 2 queen bed room. So that didn't start our stay off very well. When we checked out, we found out she lied to us about the king rooms and that there were plenty of king bed rooms open and never down for maintenance. We were told that it showed she changed our booking. Aside from the bad service from Kelli in the evening, we checked in the rooms, and the building were clean. Bryce in the morning at check out, and the housekeeping head staff was amazing and very helpful and informative.

Had to move rooms 3 times to find an acceptable room. Staff was accommodating and apologetic. First room had dirty sheets and so did the second (with standing water in the floor from the fridge). Third room was clean and comfortable, but floors needed to be mopped. Oh, need exhaust fans in the bathrooms.

Nice market in the lobby. Good breakfast options with freshly made coffee. Checked out the laundry room and there are brand new machines and no coin slots. Free! Rooms are smallish but functional. Quite a few eating options nearby
