The Artisan at Tuscan Village, Salem, NH, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

Always a great stay!

Modern and clean hotel with a good restaurant, coffee cafe, and rooftop bar in the hotel. Very nice outdoor pool and hot tub. Spa available but didn’t book anything. Great shopping area outside the hotel. Only complaint is we stayed for 2 nights and housekeeping didn’t clean our room after the first night. We had to request fresh towels, more bottled water, bed was never made up, etc. For the nightly price, the room should be made up daily.

Great restaurants and shopping all walking distance. Nice staff too.

The hotel staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The location is excellent — plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance. Easy access to Canobie Lake Park, which was a major plus for our trip.

We booked through Booking.com and selected a corner queen room with a lake view. When we arrived, the hotel said they don’t differentiate views, even though we paid a higher rate for the lake view. Never received a refund for the difference. Housekeeping was poor. Dust covered most surfaces except the desk. We found candy wrappers beside the bed. Dirty underwear was left on the bathroom’s bottom rack. Housekeeping only made the beds once during our 3-night stay. We had to flag someone down for toilet paper. Most of the housekeeping staff didn’t speak English, which made communication difficult.They came in, took out trash, and folded towels on the TV stand — no vacuuming or real cleaning. Hard to consider this a 4-star hotel based on that experience.

Great atmosphere for a girls trip, we did a cooking class at the Tuscan kitchen. Craft cocktails and the appetizers in the rooftop bar were delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed dinner at the Tuscan market. The hotel is clean, very comfortable beds. It was a great getaway all around.

It was a great stay for the most part but the room was a not properly cleaned as we did find a child’s toy under our bed.

Beautiful facility with amazing food.

They never serviced the room. Even after calling. We were here 3 nights.
