Sand Rose Beach Resort

This was the best hotel I’ve stayed at in SPI, and I’ve been coming here for decades! Staff was fantastic, free full breakfast included, exceptionally clean rooms and comfortable beds. Walk out the door to the beach! Can’t wait to return!!

Comfort y espacio en la habitacion. De muy facil acceso al area de playa. Muy buen Resturant/Bar en area comun de playa/alberca.

Mi sugerencia es solo poner un poco mas de diseño, comfort o arreglo al area de restaurant. Se ve muy austero o vacio. Seria sugerible poner un poco mas de diseño o arreglo a dicha area para sentir mejor la expericencia que uno se encuentra en un area de restaurant.

Best view of weekend firework, direct access to beach, breakfast is decent, compared to other locations at this time price is cheap

Have to pay for parking, beds are one of the most uncomfortable I've ever been on even at the cheapest motels, they are lumpy, balconies are so small and have water leaking from the A/Cs of the rooms above you that they aren't enjoyable to relax on, mini fridge barely cools, pool is very small, beach is crowded in this section. If you're going for a balcony room with ocean view only get 3rd floor or above. 2nd floor balcony have sight mostly blocked by Gazebo roof.

La ubicación, ya que esta a unos pasos de la playa, instalaciones limpias, el personal siempre limpiando los pasilllos, se permite ingresar con mascotas.

La alberca es muy pequeña y el desayuno no hay nada de variedad (solo huevo, salchicha y omellete).

I would rate this hotel a five based on location alone but the room itself was below average, my room smelled like mildew, I had a rusted drain the door hinges to the patio were rusty, I had to buy WD40 so that the door would latch. I asked a hotel to do it but they never responded. I booked a room with an ocean view. I received a deluxe room with a partial ocean view, so I had to request a refund for the difference. Lastly I had a hard time finding the hotel because it's actually named San Rose Beach Resort and not La Quinta Inn. They do have a very good breakfast, served in a large room. and the wife loved that our room had a ceiling fan.

The hotel was clean. The beds were comfortable. The room rate was very reasonable and the food available at the restaurants was really good and inexpensive. Meals delivered to the room or to your patio chair! Views from the ocean views were beautiful and the views from the side room we had on our last night were just as beautiful! The very best part of our stay was the staff. Every single person we spoke with was polite, friendly and helpful. I have recommended this hotel to family and friends.
