Eco forward branding which we are okay with, though maybe not for others - which meant no mini ref etc. Comfortable and beautiful room. Very good location if you plan on visiting the palace. Books added a homey touch and was nice to learn whom the room was named after.

We walked in to drop off our shopping and one of the staff questioned me on our way out, which felt like they didn't know I was a guest at one of their suites. Housekeeping took away our hotel slippers and did not replenish until the following day. Towel heating rack doesn't heat much?

The people, the location, & the absolute attention to every detail. I felt safe, cared for & honoured to be there. Excellent dining, kitchen superb. Best coffee & fresh baked goods every day. Across from the gardens & palace, beautiful white & brown horses prancing by our breakfasting window one morning! Kings stables, Queens stables, right across the street! Amazing, such an easy walk for this Young at Heart Elder…

This question does not apply to my experience at Les Lumieres, Versailles.
