We arrived by ferry and the walk to Villa Porta Maestra was super easy - awesome location, just off the main square. Our host met us and kindly let us leave our luggage until our room was ready. She recommended a fantastic restaurant we enjoyed for lunch. The room was absolutely beyond our expectations! I don't think the photos on the website do it justice. Breakfast was also so lovely, with table service and so delicious each day. We fell in love with Hvar, and we will DEFINITELY be coming here again.

Perfect location in the old town - close to everything. Beautifully designed and appointed accommodation - classy and ultra-modern while retaining its traditional features. Fully equipped if you wanted to self-cater, but literally surrounded by numerous excellent restaurants if you don't.

We stayed 4 nights. Really wanted the towels changing at least once, and the coffee replenishing and the room serviced each day, but that didn't happen. To be honest, when I looked back at the property description those services weren't specifically mentioned, but I guess we took it for granted they would be part of the deal - and for the price, they should be. Other than that, no complaints.

The location is bang on , right in the heart of the island very very close to everywhere , staff very helpful

Smoking wasn’t allowed even in the balcony (only drawback)
