This hotel is in the absolute center and everything was brand new and so nice and helpful people working there. We recommend it!

This is quite simply one of the best hotels I've stayed at. Right in the middle of the old town, perfectly appointed room, top notch finishes, and a very romantic feel. Absolutely nothing was missing.

This is without doubt one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. A 5* experience on every level. Our apartment was gorgeous with stunning views. The location is unbeatable. Stephanie is just amazing and so helpful! Breakfast was incredible! Hvar is a magical place and we will forever remember our stay at Villa Porta Maestra. Cannot wait to come back!

Beautifully finished property. It really is at 5 star hotel standard. The breakfast at the next door Nora is lovely, with homemade treats. Loved it, best accomm in Croatia.

Only negative is taking luggage up 3 flights, but unavoidable with a heritage building like this.

The property is outstanding - fairly new and just beautifully designed - we were blown away - the pictures didn’t do it justice. It’s in a perfect central location but also quiet and peaceful. The breakfasts were amazing and I can’t sing Stefani’s praises more - she is so lovely and helped plan our trip to be one of the most special trips we’ve had. Do not hesitate to book!!!!!!! We wouldn’t stay anywhere else!!!!!

Nothing. It was perfect

Everything exceeded expectations, the suite was even better than the pictures, very clean and has everything you could possibly need for your stay. The location was incredible a stones throw away from the main square, yet the apartment homely and quiet. Have to give a very important and special mention to Stefani - who was the perfect host and person to greet us and share so much local knowledge, the best restaurants and incredible activities/experiences. Could not have asked for anything more. Breakfast just a 30 second stroll in a beautiful courtyard, where the food was delicious, home made and the staff were incredibly friendly. Can’t wait to come back! :)

Amazing property for our group. We rented the entire villa in June 2024. Perfect location to shops, restaurants, bars, pharmacy, market, farmers market. All new modern decor with still keeping the old world historic charm of Croatia. Great AC and heated bathroom floors and heated towel rack. Full kitchen with pots and pans, stove, fridge, coffee maker, tea maker, microwave. They had free full breakfast every morning in the courtyard next door. It was so clean and every detail in the design and decor was beautiful. We used the pull out couch in two of the apartments and it was very comfortable. There is also a clothes washer in the top floor (2 bedroom apartment). Stefani, the manager was so helpful and nice and gave us fresh fruit, nuts and cookies in each apartment. There are stairs involved to reach the separate apartments so keep that in mind if stairs are hard for you and carrying luggage up all the stairs. Stefani did help us with carrying a lot of our luggage to each room. I highly recommend staying here for your Hvar town accommodations.
