You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation. A damage deposit of GBP 50 is required. The host charges this 7 days before arrival. This will be collected by credit card. You should be reimbursed within 7 days of check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full via credit card, subject to an inspection of the property. All guests must undergo an ID verification process and completion of our security deposit invoice. Guests are required to upload ID for all guests via a secure platform after booking. Please be advised that until these procedures are completed, we are unable to provide check-in information. This property will not accommodate hen, stag or similar parties. Note : Guest living within a 15 miles radius of the property will be required to pay a refundable security deposit of £500

Hi we checked into Charles hope hotel on the waterfront in Southampton. There was no one in reception and had to do everything via the telephone. Once we arrived at the room there was this horrible whistling noise which over powered you. The front door rattled. We investigated the situation and found the bed room window was broken and due strong winds that day coming from the sea front. The wind traveled through the apartment course the horrible noise and doors to rattle. I called the number again which we had to check in. Explained the situation and asked to have the room changed. The bloke on the telephone was very nice but unfortunately couldn't help. I had the hump by now due the fact the hotel wasn't easy to find wasn't signed posted. We got charged to cross the toll bridge 3x times as sat navigation said it was on one side of the toll using post code, but name search said the other side of toll. Parking was a nightmare and cost alot. Then the stupid telephone call to check in and uploading i.d.  The hole experience was a long process which felt like a nightmare. My partners daughter is in Southampton hospital under going chemotherapy and this night was ment to be stress free break for her. I then just book a complete different hotel as we couldn't stay in the apartment room. I wish to have refunded or give another room at a later date as we were unable to stay in the room. I have attached a video of broken window. Do have the video but unable to send due to being more then 26mb. Used screen shots from video

Bathroom door is not working, no curtains , flies around , one of the room has machine noise all day all night! No sleeping extremely annoying

"Stunning views and the apartment was perfect"

Collecting Key. Needed code to get into property and than return to my vehicle to park the car which you could only do this once collected let. No place to park the car while this was happening so possible you maybe receive parking ticket if travelling alone.
