The Burlington Collection

It is in a lovely location in a peaceful part of Sheringham. The flat is well proportioned - particularly the bedrooms - and beautifully decorated throughout - bright and clean. The open plan kitchen/living room provides adequate space for socializing during your stay. Access was easy and rooms are off a long corridor from the front door. The provision of fans for hot days was most helpful.

Some poor details - e.g. no tea towel for drying pots, a loose socket cover in the front bedroom, some paint pealing from the ceiling above the shower, settee quite uncomfortable, and window blinds being white means the sun streams in from sunrise - no blackout available.

Really well decorated, looks amazing , stunning property. Very close to beach and town.

No tea towels, one of the handles was broken on one of the wardrobes . You couldn’t turn on the floor lamp as it isn’t plugged in or near a socket and we didn’t feel we could move sofa to put elsewhere.

We stayed in Flat 2 - a spacious lower ground floor apartment. 3 large bedrooms each with its own en-suite, and an open plan kitchen / living room. We found the apartment to be clean and well-equipped and in a fantastic location - seafront opposite the front of the building and the high street just a couple of minutes walk down pretty Augusta Street from the rear. We visited friends who were staying in Cromer by train - a quick 8 minute journey with trains running till late in the evening. We had no problem finding a free parking spot outside the apartment and we stayed in August. Sheringham is a lovely little town and there are so many fab places to visit close by. We loved it.

A welcome pack would have been nice - the owners are upfront about the fact that this isn’t provided so it didn’t come as a surprise. But just a few essentials such as a pint of milk etc so guests can make a cup of tea after a long journey etc would be a nice touch.

It was a nice place. Everything was near by kids loved it thank you.

It did smell like dust in rooms there was dust underneath bed sides tables wish they had a hoover or dust pan brush other than that it was lovely stay a nice family time. Thank you

Communication with the host

The location was amazing and the flat was very new and in good condition, with all the appliances

The cleanliness wasn't great, very dusty floors and my kid drop a ball under the bed and it seems that it was not cleaned in ages. It would get 10/10 if at least a dustpan and brush was available to pick up any crumbs etc.

The apartment is in a great position, close to the beach, and convenient for the town centre. We loved the fact that all three double rooms were en-suite. The kitchen, dining, living area was a reasonable size. The whole place was clean and well-equipped. It was dog-friendly, too.

We had a few minor niggles. The coat hooks were broken - the reason clearly being the very short (and therefore totally inadequate) screws. We found the lighting harsh and clinical. We would have preferred warm white bulbs, but I guess that’s down to individual taste.
