Tranquil Apartment in Norwich City Center

Close to everything you need,, very spacious, host was really lovely!

The neighbor in number 2 behind the building shouted at me and my boyfriend when we went out for a ciggarette, saying how the place was "known for druggies" and wouldn't stop even after I explained that I was staying in the flat opposite (could point at the window and see the dog). I assume it's because my boyfriend is a black man and we were both wearing puffer jackets, but it's the middle of December and it's cold! He works for the government, and I'm an English teacher. We're definitely not dodgy! He kept saying, "It depends what's on the video" and wouldn't listen to me until a man interjected. I did notice one of his windows were boarded up so I don't know if he's coming from a place of fear or wound up the wrong person, but something to consider for innocent guests who just want a cheeky cig outside of the apartment

Perfect location in beautiful Tombland area of Norwich

In a great secure location, parking included. Great spot for Benedict street, Tombland, the cathedral and a short walk from the City centre. Facilities spot on bed comfy. Couldn't rate it better.

Lovely secure space in the centre of town close to everything. The well equipped apartment had everything we needed for a short stay with off street secure parking being a bonus.

Internet - whilst a network appeared to be available (EE) it wasn’t free. This wasn’t clear in the apartment details and was disappointing. Our attempt to contact the host just to confirm the situation was not responded to. Some details need attention for example we couldn’t get the mirror light in the bathroom to work, there was no bulb in the bedroom ceiling light fitting and the curtain rail above the TV window is about to fall off.

Location was excellent, 10 min walk from the train station and same to city centre. Two minutes from the Cathedral and lots of bars and restaurants around. The apartment was generally nice and quiet and a good size.

We contacted the host upon arrival to say that the internet didn't work at all. No answer via email so day two we tried WhatsApp, which was answered many hours later. And only then to ask us to reset the router, which we tried to no avail. We heard nothing back after that and it never worked during our stay. Quite unsatisfactory.

Bathroom fan and one light not working!

Fantastic location within a courtyard in a quiet street almost opposite Norwich Cathedral, The flat was well-equipped and there was a much appreciated dedicated and secure parking space. The host was extremely helpful in responding to a few questions I had.

The only wrinkle was a not very comfortable bed.

Very disappointed. Host cancelled the booking after I made payment saying it was booked earlier in the day and that the website wasn't updated correctly. I had to find alternative accommodation. Weeks later, I still haven't received my money back. Avoid.

Deceptive marketing, booked in April for VJ celebrations in August at Cathedral. This place is not in Cathedral grounds but in a back street near Cathedral Booking absolute nightmare, two different reference numbers, two seperate addresses. Apartment in a modern block of flats on the second floor, totally unsuitable for an elderly dog. Only discovered this 6 days prior to arrival. Owner extremely good at not answering the phone or replying to emails.. Cancelled out of absolute despair, having been absolutely let down by Ttravelnest and owner. Fortunately found somewhere that was a credit to tourism in Norwich.
